My name is Tammy Carlson and I opened Loverly in October 2020 after more than 20 years of experience in the retail industry. I studied clothing and textiles in college with a concentration on visual merchandising, and brought my skills to large retailers including Bath & Body Works, Nine West Shoes, Limited Express and another local boutique. However, it was always my dream to have my own clothing store, and not even a global pandemic could get in the way!

Living in an Illinois suburb of St. Louis, Missouri, I saw a real need in the community for a women’s clothing store that carried quality brands that people would have to drive across the river to find at stores like Nordstrom. I grew up here in Edwardsville and am passionate about helping this community thrive. It is always my goal to help customers feel confident and beautiful — and I hope this website helps me reach more of them!
